#6106 Oni-Glazed cup

This cup measures 4 inches tall.   Here's my latest work.  Priced just right for gifting....values up to $125 in this batch of new cups. This cup screams "geology" to me...defining the process of liquid deterioration of materials....washing the unlocked beauty to a catching point where it reveals more to you than you imagined possible. This most-recent collection of cups is, by my measure, some of the nicest results of my ONI-GLAZED approach.  When you think of "ONI".....think "excessive", "more than enough".... "a little over the top".  Exactly what I'm looking for.  And I'm so happy with the way these modulating glazes interact with the dancing shapes of these cups...sure to fit your hand in 'just the right way'. I'm continuing to explore "Oni-Glazing" for the last two and a half years.  The complexity and elusiveness manage to delight and challenge me enough that I keep going.
