Godzilla 2: War of the Monsters is a strategy-based, single-player game for Nintendo NES developed by TOHO in 1992. In this game, players control the military forces attempting to prevent Godzilla and other monsters from destroying cities. The genre deviates from its predecessor's action-adventure style, shifting to turn-based strategy. Players strategically deploy their units each turn to attack the monsters and defend cities.
