Bodhi & Skull Impermanence Mala

An original DharmaShop design from 1999! After receiving such strong positive reactions to our Bone and Skull Impermanence Mala, DharmaShop founder, Sander Cohen, decided to create a Bodhi Seed version. Made in Nepal, it features 108 authentic dark Bodhi Seeds, a Bodhi Seed guru bead, and 3 hand carved Water Buffalo Bone skull beads. This mala serves as a powerful reminder to be here now and to live in the present moment; because nothing is permanent, everything is possible. A note from Sander - My Buddhist practice revolves around impermanence. We live only in the present moment and it is helpful to remember that nothing lasts. Skulls are featured prominently in Tibetan symbolism and many of our DharmaShop customers are fond of this reminder that nothing lasts forever.
