Detection of metals at a depth of up to 3 m (9.8 ft) Thanks to the pulse induction method the Pulse Nova can reach enormous depths. For these detection depths, Pulse Induction (PI) offers key advantages compared to other measuring technology; The PI metal detector's search coil is available as requested. The bigger the metal detector spindle, the greater the search depth. The detector operating principle allows particularly high transmission power, which allows objects to be detected more deeply. The detection of metal objects in the ground as deeply as possible always depends on factors such as the size, location, and terrestrial nature. In general, these factors apply to all metal detectors: The bigger the object, the deeper it can be detected. As long as the object is underground, it can be detected better. (Halo effect) Deeper objects can be detected when the metal detector coil is larger. The accuracy of detection is determined by the conduciveness, shape, and position of the object. The composition of the soil and the layers of the soil affect the depth. The Pulse Nova pulse induction metal detector has another advantage over passively measuring OKM ground scanners; it achieves clear measured values even in heavily mineralized soils and is, therefore, able to directly detect natural gold and precious metal gemstones.
