Dermal Fillers/Fillers
Dermal Fillers/Fillers Dermal fillers are gel-like substances used to restore lost volume. These gels are primarily made of hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxylapatite, and poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). Types of Dermal Fillers: Hyaluronic Acid (HA): A naturally occurring substance in the body that provides hydration and volume. HA fillers are often used for plumping lips, filling in fine lines and wrinkles, and contouring facial features. Results typically last 6-12 months. Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA): A mineral-like compound found in bones. CaHA fillers are thicker than HA fillers and are used for deeper wrinkles, folds, and to add volume to the cheeks and other areas. Results can last 12-18 months. Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA): A biodegradable synthetic substance that stimulates collagen production. PLLA fillers are used to gradually build volume and improve skin texture over time. Results can last up to 2 years. Common Treatment Areas: Cheeks (Mejillas) Lips (Labios) Nasolabial fol
