Going Inward - Framed Illustration

Going Inward is an ink and acrylic wash illustration by artist Derek Hess that's finished with a white matte and a black metal frame. With closed eyes and a red hue cast across his face, a self-portrait of Derek pokes through into an unknown opening.  Derek said, "I've been meditating more lately to find a calm space in my mind. When there's an opening, I find it's good to rest there in stillness." This framed art is from a previously shown gallery exhibition. The frame may have minor scratches and dings indicative of having toured to a few different locations.  Overall size is 8" x 9." Illustration size is approximately 4" x 4"
