The work depicts a dystopian cityscape, where architectural and natural elements mix in a surreal, psychedelic composition. In the background, vertical black and yellow drips descend from above, evoking an acid rain that seems to contaminate the entire scene. This depiction suggests a critique of environmental degradation, a recurring theme in Scharf's work. In the foreground, we find stylised buildings in bright colours, including blue skyscrapers and a red geometric structure, contrasting with palm trees and sinuous branches, also rendered in unnatural tones of purple and blue.
