Available on 2 LP black wax Jade bird has returned with second album, different kinds of light, coming august 2021. Translating the 2020's conflicting emotional into sharply observed narrative vignettes, she shows her flair as a storyteller. With the help of grammy- winning producer dave cobb (brandi carlile, john prine, lady gaga), bird let's her sound find it's groove. The defining album joins british influences-the smiths, cocteau twins-with 90s alt-rock-blur, oasis and iggy pop. "that rock element that i've been missing and deeply love," is how jade describes it.
