02-07 Jeep Liberty (KJ) Polyurethane Steering Rack Bushings

These Polyurethane bushings are a direct replacement for your old worn out OEM steering rack bushings. The factory Jeep bushings are made from a very soft rubber which deteriorates over time and leaves less then desirable steering feel. There are two problems that arise with the factory bushings. First they are made from a very cheap soft rubber and the strength is not there for how small they are. Secondly, it is very common for the steering racks to leak fluid on to these bushings which leads to them deteriorating rather quickly. Creative Steel's polyurethane bushings not only are a stronger material but the Liberty steering rack fluid (ATF+4) has zero effects on longevity. Because of the 2 piece design, there is a actual flange on top to isolate NVH unlike the factory bushings. Creative Steel machines new pins out of 6061 aluminum to ensure a perfect press fit. Aluminum pins are anodized black to resist corrosion. Sold as a set
