Historic Woodcut, The Devil Re Baptising a Male Witch DIGITAL PATTERN

This recreation in cross stitch is of a woodcut from the pages of the "Compendium Maleficarum," the 1610 edition written by Francesco Maria Guazzo in Milan, Italy. The book is meant to be a witch-hunter's manual, and it covers witches' pacts with the Devil, various types of witches' poisons and potions, as well as demonology. I am unsure, however, who created this particular woodcut from the book. It is titled "The Devil re-baptising a male witch." I attempted to recreate this pattern down to every little detail. However, I eliminated some of the linework to put more emphasis on the characters and to de-clutter the scene. I created the pattern for 28 count, but you will probably want to stitch this over 2. Therefore, I've included the design for this piece on 14 count in addition to the 28 count pattern. (At 28 count, the piece measures 10" wide by 8" high.
