20th Century Chinese Famille Noire Vase

 This is a slightly different form of the traditional Chinese porcelain baluster vase. It has a famille noire decorated with prunus blossoms and pheasants. Stylized gilded handles are attached to a slender neck. The mouth of the vase is slightly flared. There is a six character red apocryphal Tongzhi reign mark on the base. It is approximately 15 inches tall. There is no damage, only a firing flaw to the base. There are signs of age and use as well as old adhesive in some areas.
