White  Oak #2 Common Grade Hardwood Flooring contains characteristic varieties including large and small knots, a small percentage of pocket knots (easily fixed with matching knot filler), long and short mineral streaks, alongside noticeable shading varieties between each board. This grade of wood flooring has a progressively “Rural” look to the general appearance. #2 Common or “Rustic” is exceptionally natural in appearance, with incredible variety in shading from board to board, noticeable mineral streaks, bigger knots, and a shorter average board length of almost 2′ in length. Defaria Flooring offers White Oak #2 Common Grade that is processed to NWFA (National Wood Flooring Association) Rules that allows a small percentage of common imperfections within the flooring which strongly recommends a higher rate of Waste Factor (12%-15% Waste Factor) than ordinary higher grades of White Oak flooring.
