Ever go fishing and lures just aren't cutting it? Try live bait! The best way to catch bait is to use one of these 8ft cast nets, then you'll able to catch live bait where ever you go! These cast nets are portable enough to carry around in a bucket or even a backpack, so you will always be prepared. Cast Net Size: 8ft (2.4m) 3/4 in mesh netting. How to Perfectly Throw a Cast Net The First Time: Setup is just as important as the throw, so prep your cast net by holding it properly before you throw. Keep in mind: your throw should be as fluid as water and most importantly: PRACTICE! 1. Hold the yoke of the cast net in your left hand and hold your hand and the cast net up in the air, fully extended. Now, you'll want to shake the net out and make sure the bottom is not tangled or caught on itself. Preparation to throw is just as important as the formation or throwing a net. 2. Using your right hand, grab the net halfway between the yoke (top of the net) and the lead line (bottom of the net where it opens) 3. Roll the net over your left hand so it rolls back towards you (very similar to coiling a hose). 4. Split the lead line at the bottom of the net in half. You want about half of the net to be in your left hand and about half of it hanging down. Roll this portion of the net over the top of your left hand, going away from you.  5. When you look at the lead line facing away from you the weights and lead line on your left should be almost level and the weights and lead line on your right should be almost level also. There will be a noticeable drop in the lead line and it should be near the middle of the net facing away from you. Grab the lead line in the middle of where it drops at the middle of the cast net. 6. Now, put the lead line (not the weights) in your teeth to prepare to throw and reach with your right hand to grab the lead line holding it away from you. 7. Throw releasing your left hand first, allow the weight of the net to open itself from the motion of your upper body. It is not about how hard you throw it is about the motion and proper technique since your lower body is relatively still. 8. Don't forget to release the lead line from your teeth as you throw! VIOLA! You have now thrown a perfect pancake. Get that bait!!! *Please note shipping will take approximately 2-4 weeks. Most customers receive their product within 2 weeks.
