Marbled Spoon Rest

This is an evolution of the spoon rest I created for Great Jones in April 2022. The sides are straighter and slightly taller, allowing for bigger utensils to fit better. The curves are sharper, giving it a much more refined look. And the cutout is totally redesigned to be more consistent and just a hair shorter, allowing for a drip area to catch inadvertent rivulets of liquids. These enhancements add up to a stylish and functional spoon rest that better fits the DEEP BLACK design language. Things to know about marbling: Due to the complexity of the layering process, no two marbled pieces — even within the same colorway — will have the same marbling. It’s not possible to reproduce particular effects or patterns but that’s the fun of it all, you never quite know what you’ll get. All marbled wares are 100% food-safe non-toxic vitrified ceramic.
