Tidal Pool

Tidal Pool, 2023 This whimsical painting calls to mind a bit of beach exploration. I was longing for a walk on the beach as I recovered from surgery. It is my interpretation of a tidal pool and its mysteries as the water flows and ebbs. Painted in the colors of sand and surf with a bit of added texture.  With its' layers of blended acrylic and texture medium, this painting will bring attention to whatever wall it graces and it invites the viewer in for a second look! Painted on a 18in x 24in x 1.5in gallery wrapped canvas, the painting extends around the sides, so there is no need to frame.  It is varnished and will come without a frame. Hanging hardware is not attached.  I use Command velcro strips to hang the majority of my work, so there are no marks on the wall.
