“Blue Daze” Fine Art by Deanna Caroon Iwas looking at Texas winter flowers and came across the Blue Daze flowers . I thought of the name for quite some time. Blue and daze, how fitting for winter time and for my disabilities . I tend to get blue during the winter months as it gets dreary outside and there aren’t as many beautiful flowers or colors to look at, and my body hurts worse from my underlying conditions from the weather. I then thought of the second word daze , also how fitting. I take a medication that helps reduce the CSF fluid from my brain and unfortunately it makes feel like I am in a daze! I loose words and forget things, but it does its job and reduces the CSF fluid, it saves my brain and vision. It’s not always horrible, I have really great moments, days, and am always thankful for them! I’m thankful for my family and friends that support me and know and hold my hand through this… finish my sentences when sometimes I may not be capable, help me to finish thoughts, or w
