This 12” x 9.1” x 2” inch slab of granite is designed for home or professional machine shop measurement. The flat top has a tolerance of 0.001 mm/m precision (difference of 2.3 micrometers between the highest and lowest points). The top is polished smooth so all you have to do is soak a piece of wet/dry sandpaper in water and lay it on the stone. It improves sharpening technique by providing a higher surface than your table to hone with minimal effort and is heavy enough to not slide around on any surface. Not intended for impact use or as a buck for leather work.
