Yongchun Laocong Foshou Kaishan 2022

永春 老樅佛手 開山 2022年 Kaishan 開山 means "mountain opening," or in this case, the very first spring harvest of an old grove of laocong foshou trees being brought into production for the first time. Subsequent vintages from this garden, therefore, will not be referred to as Kaishan. Truly a vintage tea worth the moniker. In a lighter roast strip oolong style, not ball-rolled.   Suggestion: 6-8g / 100 ml, 95-100C. We recommend a thermos or a gentle simmer of the spent leaves to completely exhaust these leaves.
