The proprietary rotating knuckle provides a full range of articulation; allowing for a tight stow against the helmet, as well as flat stow position while deployed. The AX14-PRO features a rearward sweep positioning the PVS-14 at an optimal distance from the eye. Multiple anti-rotation features, as well as reinforced joints, are utilized in the AX14-PRO design. The use of 316 stainless steel washers provide a smooth eye to eye transition while being maritime rated. The integrated tether point on the rear of the dovetail allows for lanyard/tether attachment, without imparting torsion force onto the PVS-14.
