Irma Neumuller is a Swedish jazz vocalist and composer who writes music in both Swedish and English, where she gives new life to the traditional jazz sound with her personal touch. The music is swinging, uplifting and at times emotional. Musical influences include Carmen McRae, Monica Zetterlund and Stevie Wonder. With her strong stage presence, Irma welcomes the entire audience into her musical world. Irma Neumuller was born in 2001 in Stockholm and began her musical journey in the classical world when she started playing the cello at the age of four. After twelve years as a cellist, she opened her eyes to jazz and it's singing tradition. Irma studied jazz vocals at Sodra Latin's high school in Stockholm and two years at the nationally renowned Skurup pre-college before moving to Berlin where she currently studies at the Jazz Institute Berlin.
