Salvia x 'Mesa Azure', Mountain Sage

This compact, semi-evergreen woody perennial can pump out dark purple-lavender (not really azure-blue) blooms spring through fall given good conditions. Well-draining soil, occasional water once established, and a warm, sunny site will make it happy. If the blooming slows down, give it a light pruning and a side-dressing of compost and it should kick back into flower production. Attractive to pollinators & hummingbirds...not so much to deer, though! Mature size: up to 2 feet tall & wide Minimum temperature: -10° F
