Aging blooms age to a complex mix of whites, greens, pinks, purples, and browns—very rich color and texture.  Blooms on old wood. Deciduous, its interesting exfoliating bark becomes apparent in winter. Sun-tolerant, like most oak Leaf Hydrangeas, requires less water than other types.
