Chamaenerion fleischeri (syn. Epilobium fleischeri), Dwarf Fireweed or Alpine Willowherb

From the Alps, this airy European alpine has very fine, narrow, gray-green leaves with clouds of lavender-pink flowers all summer, and clouds of cottony seed heads in fall. It self-sows but is easy enough to remove. And anyway, you might want a lot of these delightful and pretty clouds here and there in your garden to create continuity and atmosphere. Attracts hummingbirds. Please choose a shipping date between Oct 1 - June 1.  Summer foliage is too delicate to ship. Mature size: 18 inches tall and wide Minimum temperature: -30° F
