The essence of my artistic voice is the highlighting of the explosive undulating lines and corresponding negative shapes within life forms across our world through hand-pierced metal. I'm focused on getting people to wear anatomy and not just the anatomy in our bodies but also the anatomy from within a starfish, microscopic organisms or trees. A statement on the connection within all life that we take for granted. This ring series is inspired by the beautiful undulating musculature found within the human heart. I began studying drawings of the human heart for inspiration when my son was born with a heart defect.
