I utilized sinker balls for fishing because of their bright colors and lightweight feel in conjunction with polished brass and acrylic. The whimsy of loose objects trapped beneath the hand-formed acrylic implies motion and brings playfulness to a traditional bezel set form.Artist Bio: Madison Egleston is an artist, metalsmith, and plastic enthusiast from Akron, Ohio. Growing up, Madison always loved making art and as a teenager began her artistic journey as a ceramics instructor at a local studio. After high school, she continued her education at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio where she studied Jewelry and Metalsmithing under Andrew Kuebeck.
