An homage to Thich Nhat Hanh's "The Sun, My Heart", the design of this ring is a simple hollow form, the face a scrim over the space within. Fused gold tracery, piercings, scribed lines hint at what it means to be present in this moment. Artist Bio: I am a Seattle born architect-turned-metalworker in my free time. In jewelry design, the memory of a place has become my focus. I'm inspired by what I see in the world, creating pieces that evoke the shadow pattern of leaves, fog in the nighttime sky, or the feeling of being in a shady forest.
