Antique hand carved shell cameo 14K gold frame. The cameo is hand carved genuine shell depicting Leda and the swan . Leda and the swan cones from Greek mythology where Zeus transforms himself into a swan to seduce Leda . The cameo framed measures 1 1/2” by 1 3/4” long. The cameo has a locking pin stem marked 14K the stem is metal. We date the cameo Circa 1890-1900.
