GL1800 Rivco Trailer Hitch

This is a Rivco trailer hitch. This is made by Rivco Products and was designed specifically for the GL1800. It is machined and fabricated entirely from aircraft aluminum. It is super strong and super light, weighing in at less than 8 lbs! The key to this trailer hitch's superior strength and rigidity is lightweight aircraft aluminum and proper basic design elements like perfect triangulation of the mounting points, not heavy masses of steel. This GL1800 hitch bolts solidly to the MAIN FRAME at 8 points without any of the flimsy sub-frame attachments as seen in other brands. Once installed, all that is visible is the chrome tongue which can be removed in seconds for a stock look when not towing. This hitch is designed so that the tongue protrudes through a hole in the rear fender where the stock reflector is.
