Bow Motor 2 (12 Volt)

The Bow motor 2 6.8HP is available 12V can be universally fitted to most electric winches as long as the winch mounting can accommodate the motors additional length. Designed to provide high power & torque levels with incredible reliability & at a respectable price tag.  The Bow Motor 2 as also features a low amperage draw when compared to other commonly used winch motors such as the Warn XP 6HP unit. These Bow 2 winch motors offer greater high speed and mid range torque and have a faster off line retrieval speeds than the Bowmotor 1 and are similar to the Warn XP. The Bowmotor 2 is a very resilient motor and is favoured for “over-volting” (this is when 24v is passed through 12v motors) by many top crews including Croatia Trophy winner Jim Marsden, Malaysian Rainforest Challenge winner Simon Buck, Chris Abel and Steve Gittens. This motor does not like to be stalled and will be damaged if this happens.
