2024 Desktop Calendar We originally designed the 2024 calendar to celebrate Mr. Cost’s 50 years of painting Maui. In the light of the current devastation to our beloved island that has brought us to our knees with grief, this 50-year anniversary has taken on a whole new meaning. Looking back at Mr. Cost’s older paintings of Lahaina our hearts are aching. We have redesigned the calendar to feature some of Mr. Cost’s early Lahaina paintings. While it is heartbreaking to look at the way it used to be, it also inspires us for the long, hard journey of rebuilding. 20% of the profits from the sales of this calendar will go to Hawai’i Community Foundation's Maui Strong Fund, which disperses funds to many essential services to our community in this vulnerable time.
