Dinosaur Bone - No 1

This chunk of dinosaur bone has a polished cross section. This bone fragment shows excellent cell structure detail and has a lot of color both on the polished and non polished surface.  The polish further brings out the detail of the specimen. This bone is from a non-identified species, Cretaceous in age (65-144 million years) and was collected from the Judith River formation in Montana, USA.  An excellent palm size piece!
