The shape feels ceremonial, the color palette quietly electric.   ABOUT TIM CORNELL Tim Cornell is a Chicago-based ceramicist whose evocative Raku pottery bridges ancient techniques with contemporary artistry. With a background in conceptual sound sculpture and a BFA from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Tim discovered ceramics as a form of healing and creative expression. His work is distinguished by the use of Raku clay, known for its resilience to thermal shock, and the incorporation of natural elements like ivy, rose leaves, and feathers from his rescue chicken, Brienne of Tarth.
