Brassica oleracea. An heirloom introduced in 1820s and re-selected by Dr. Jeff McCormack, Southern Exposure Seed Exchange co-founder. A great variety with bright green, smooth leaves, almost like a glaze instead of matte. 'Green Glaze' is heat and frost resistant, is slow bolting and non-heading. A valuable feature of this variety is its higher resistance to cabbage worm and cabbage looper.
