This curly cord cable is for a hardwired connection between the TUFFTALK headset and specific Motorola handheld radios using a multi-pin connector (see radio list below). This cable allows the use of a Motorola 2-way radio with the standard TuffTalk headset (TUFFTALK-01 and TUFFTALK-02).  It allows you to still communicate headset-to-headset via the TuffTalk's Bluetooth intercom, but also to connect your headset to your Motorola handheld radio to allow communication via 2-way radio when needed. In addition to audio and mic functions, this cable also enables the Push-To-Talk (PTT) button built-in to the side of the Tufftallk headset. Just press the PTT button on the side of your headset to talk via the 2-way radio, and release to listen. This cable connects the standard TuffTalk headset's 3.5mm jack to the following Motorola multi-pin radios, which use a specific multi-pin type connector: XPR Series: XPR6100, XPR6300, XPR6350, XPR6380, XPR6500, XPR6550, XPR6580, XPR7350, XPR7380, XPR75
