Mermaid Just CaughtWho Caught Who?  Over the years I’ve known several mermaid girls. Women of an age yes but really 7-12. A mermaid is like Peter Pan, some part of the human soul that refuses to grow old, a part of the psyche that is forever young. Forever free.Free is an interesting word with this mermaid because clearly she’s been caught, chain wraps twice around her tail and chain twice around her wrist. She has been caught and someone is taking her home. Because we can’t see her face in detail she is every woman – girl in a sea side dream. She is sultry and swimmily svelte in this graceful central arc as she is being pulled to the surface. Her attire is pure mermaid from the waist down, while double spirals cover her breast.
