Fern - Birdsnest Hurricane

Birdsnest Ferns are a beautiful fern variety that grow in a rosette-like pattern, with their thick glossy leaves sprouting from a central growth point. This ‘Hurricane’ variety is especially interesting, as its leaves curl and swirl from its center, mimicking the eye of a hurricane.  Light: Like most ferns, this plant will do well in filtered bright indirect light, but can also easily adapt to lower light environments. Never let your fern get direct sun, as the intense rays will burn its tender foliage.  Water: Ferns love water, and do not like to dry out. Water this plant when the top layer of soil feels slightly damp to dry to the touch. When watering, avoid pouring water into the central growth point of the plant, as this can cause it to rot. Instead, water around the perimeter of the pot.  Ferns also love humidity, so this plant will appreciate being in a bathroom, or having a pebble tray or humidifier nearby.  This plant is pet friendly!
