Alocasia - Jacklyn
Light: Alocasia require plenty of bright, indirect light, but you want to avoid direct sun, which scorches the leaves. Rotate the pot weekly to encourage even growth. Water: To keep the prized foliage of your Alocasia looking verdant and healthy, it will need regular and thorough watering. These plants don't like being waterlogged, so allow the top 50% of the soil to dry out between waterings, especially if the weather isn't too warm. The key is consistently moist but not wet conditions to avoid root rot. Humidity: Native to tropical regions, Alocasia love humidity. We recommend adding a humidifier if your home is dry, or keeping in a glass case, cloche, or terrarium for optimal growth. These plants are not pet-friendly. Photographs are representative of the species and not always the specific plant shipped. Normal variations in size, pruning and leaf structure may occur. All plant sales are final.
