Figure Drawing 4-Week Class (Smith Thursday Evenings)

Get loose and get it on paper. Working from live models this 4 session drawing class will focus on techniques for visually evaluating the figure then transferring that information onto the page using big bold strokes of charcoal, pastel, and ink. We’re going to do a lot of drawings, and use up a lot of paper, and you’re going to get your hands dirty and probably your clothes too. As a wise man once told me “You can’t build a skyscraper with one brick and a white tuxedos.” Sept 11 – Oct 4   6:30 – 9:30pm Thursdays   Whether you’re experienced with figure drawing or just starting out, this class will offer ample opportunities to investigate, explore and improve your drawing skills.
