Artist StatementBruce and Scott Sink first visited Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve in 2005 while Scott was attending the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. Bruce was inspired to complete a watercolor painting of the iconic red buildings of Kennecott Copper Mine from the photographs they took on that Alaskan blue sky day in August. In 2016, Scott and his wife returned to the ghost town in the middle of the largest national park in the United States of America to explore massive Root Glacier. ‰ÛÓ Bruce and Scott Sink
