Wolf Moon by Jen Kruch

Artist StatementThis design was originally made for a seasonal espresso from Ritual Coffee Roasters. The year's espressos were all inspired by animals native to the state of California, and the first one I wanted to draw was a gray wolf. Shortly after I made this drawing, for the first time in nearly a century, a pack of gray wolves was sited in California. The wolves' threatened existence is tragic. They are majestic creatures and deserve to be treated as such. — Jen Kruch
