Artist StatementI made this free flowing digital piece ‘it’s time to act’ on procreate to express not only my personal concerns, values and stance on the Climate crisis, but my peers who are worried for our own future ahead. I made the artwork digitally, emitting no toxins from paint and solar power. The vibrant colours and elements reflect nature and embody its spontaneous beauty. The woman stands out, symbolising the key element that we as the cause of the crisis are the ones who need to take action and change. Personally, I join and support the climate strikes and think it’s a necessity that we together make change to help our beautiful earth, and the generations coming. - kita healy
