Artist StatementThis book cover for Peter Pan is very simple. The dark blue background is meant to represent space. There are two stars in the upper right hand corner, the right star has Pan's hat in the negative space. This draws your eye to that star and it pulls out the quote from the book "Second star to the right and straight on til morning."
