Artist StatementThinking about how many animals need homes is heartbreaking. For countless years we have created these household pets for companionship-- bred to be dependent on us, and love us. But now there are so many potential beloved family members that are lost, seeking their "forever home." It is so important to adopt your pets instead of purchasing expensive puppies or kittens from a breeder's questionable circumstances. Shelter pets need you. And despite these sweet animals' rough backstories, they really do make incredible friends. — Caitlin Alexander
