It’s especially suited for warmer-sounding guitars with a prominent midrange, making it a popular choice for Les Pauls and Paul Reed Smiths. It pairs well with the Jazz or ’59 neck models and forms one half of the ’59/Custom Hybrid humbucker. Handbuilt in Santa Barbara, CA, the Duncan Custom medium-output humbucker pickup features a small ceramic bar magnet, nickel silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance. Available in standard humbucker or Trembucker spacing for 6-string, or in a passive mount 7-string configuration.
