The Ha'Penny Bridge, Dublin, Republic of Ireland. I was in Ireland for 5 days a few months ago. This is oldest pedestrian bridge in Dublin and was built in 1816 across the River Liffey.Prior to the bridge being built, there were 7 ferries that took people across. The ferries were in a bad condition and the ferry operator was informed that he had to either fix them or build a bridge. He chose the latter option and was granted the right to extract a ha'penny (half-penny) toll from anyone crossing it for 100 years, hence the name.I took this on one of my last nights in Ireland just after 4am. I chose a really low angle for this shot, but the streets were still packed with people at that hour on a tuesday night! Just a normal night in Dublin =) When ordering papers prints, please avoid using a PO Box address for delivery. Due to size, weight, and shipping carrier restrictions, some products cannot be shipped to a PO Box or may experience delays. We recommend providing a physical address t
