Geodes are created when crystallized mineral deposits are surrounded by tough rock shells. Now you can uncover never-before-seen natural beauty at home by cracking your own geode! Each geode is about fist-sized, and inside are spectacular sugary quartz crystals! Grab a hammer (and if you have one, a chisel), and tap at the geode until it cracks to discover your own beautiful treasures inside. Remember to wear safety goggles! The thousands of tiny crystals are best seen with a magnifier like our Cornerstone Hand Lens. Each geode is guaranteed to be hollow and contains crystals, or we'll happily ship you another.
