Our TST *(Thick Shell Tar) line is designed to offer a drum which is especially portable, but having a powerful voice with strong fundamentals. The shell is built a little thicker than our classic Cooperman tar drums; so these are not light in weight, but the added weight from the thicker shell gives the drum greater stability when played lap-style, and the additional mass helps control the fundamentals. 10 3/4" diameter x 2 1/2" depth, steam bent Vermont Maple wood.
