Background History: From 1534 to 1582, Oda Nobunaga played a pivotal role in shaping the course of feudal Japan’s history. As one of the most influential figures of the Sengoku period, Nobunaga sought to unify a fragmented Japan, plagued by numerous warring daimyos.
