Leckerlee Classic Mini Lebkuchen Cookie

For several Christmases now, we've eagerly awaited each year a shipment of Leckerlee lebkuchen to serve at our own house, and now, we are truly honored to carry their amazing baked goods at our shop (and online shop, too). Leckerlee bakes authentic Nuremberg-style lebkuchen that are made in small batches. If you love lebkuchen, and perhaps have only ever had the ones baked in massive quantities in Germany, well... you've got to do yourself a favor and try a Leckerlee Lebkuchen. We love the lebkuchen from Germany (and we sell (and eat) plenty of them each year), but these are even better... like, LOTS better! So, what are lebkuchen? Lebkuchen is a centuries-old German spiced gingerbread, of sorts, made most often in the fall and at Christmastime. Unlike most traditional American gingerbread, though, lebuchen is soft, dense, and often nutty (almond flour is the main ingredient here), with a texture somewhere between a cake and a cookie.
