Tomten are old characters from Norse folklore; they are small helpers who live near farms and homes... a bit of a house gnome and a bit of Santa Claus combined. In this nighttime scene, two Tomten, together with a bunny and a reindeer, admire an illuminated tree in the woods. This Advent Calendar is one of several from our Nordic Tomten Collection by artist Eva Melhuish. Brightened with just a hint of silvery glitter.
